In February 21-22, I attended the Ohio Celebration of Women in Computing (OCWiC), celebrating its 20th anniversary in Huron, Ohio. OCWiC focuses on empowering women in computing, offering networking, mentorship, and career development opportunities. The anniversary highlighted two decades of significant contributions to supporting women in technology fields, through inspiring keynote talks, hands-on workshops, and career-building sessions. I got the chance to meet so many inspiring women that made that conference unforgettable, especially as a first-time attendee. I would like to extend my gratitude to Crystal Farmer Sindhu Srija Annreddy Dixita Patel Azra Narvel Rachelle Kristof Hippler.
Both SACNAS and OCWiC have strongly impacted my professional outlook and expanded my network. I am immensely grateful for the support I received from all the inspiring individuals who have made these opportunities possible. I am also thankful to have received the knowledge, resources, and encouragement to attend these events and be inspired by so many talented individuals and empowered by supportive communities.”
