Be a part of innovative learning across Northeast Ohio!

May 15 – 19, 2019
Calling all schools, museums, libraries, after & out of school organizations, media centers, universities, businesses and other learning providers.

The Northeast Ohio STEM Ecosystem has partnered with the Remake Learning Network to bring Remake Learning Days to Northeast Ohio.

WHAT ARE REMAKE LEARNING DAYS?
Remake Learning Days (RMLD) is a celebration of innovative experiences and opportunities for youth to develop their sense of creativity, perseverance and curiosity hosted by a variety of organizations for youth of all ages and their families, caregivers and educators.

Events are organized by different learning themes such as: Arts, Maker, Outdoor Learning, Science, Technology and Youth Voice. In addition, there are Professional Development sessions for school, out-of-school, child care and non-traditional educators.

WHAT ARE WE ASKING?
We would be honored if you would consider joining us in bringing the largest open house of innovative, future-ready learning to Northeast Ohio on May 15-19, 2019.

The commitment is minimum – please add your events already planned for May 15-19, 2019 to the NEOSTEM RMLD website. Families and youth can search events by date/time, location, learning theme, age group and more.

If your calendar is empty, please considering hosting a hands-on learning experience or professional development for kids, families, and educators both traditional (classroom) and non-traditional.

Register Your Event
NEOSTEM will work to promote RMLD events through social media, print materials, mass media and other outlets. The first week of May, we will distribute various print materials to area schools, libraries and community sites to promote partners and events.

WHY REMAKE LEARNING DAYS IN NORTHEAST OHIO?
Our objectives are simple. We believe all children should have access and equity when it comes to learning. Learning reflective of the skills and knowledge to be future-ready!

We are driven by the question:
How might we ensure that zero marginalization and full access for learners of all ages is woven into the fabric of our ecosystem?

Through this open house of hands-on, engaging, relevant, and equitable learning experiences we want to:
Increase awareness and access to rich learning experiences that help children develop their sense of creativity, perseverance and curiosity,
Spark creation of a collaborative to increase the number of opportunities year-round in school and out of school for youth of all ages across NEOSTEM.
Influence and advocate for learning reflective of the needs of the whole learner that prepares them for life, to be future-ready.
