Cleveland

Join us once a month at the Tech Elevator CLE campus for a regular Meetup to practice coding basics and network with like-minded folks.
Bring a laptop and whatever project you’re working on and programming experts will be present at each meeting to help with debugging, reviewing code, or answering your questions.

IF YOU’RE NEW
Start with the basics of HTML. Learn how web pages work and the language used to create them.
EXERCISE: create a simple web page from scratch that looks like our example web page below. We’ll spend our time at the Meetup helping you create web pages and learning how browsers use HTML to show what we’ve made.
Take a look at the following resources before the Meetup:

FAQS
Who should attend?
Anyone who is interested in learning to code or is just starting out. Bring a friend or fly solo for this casual meetup.
Do I have to RSVP?
We ask that you RSVP so we know how many to expect.
What should I bring?
Bring your laptop to work from. We have chargers, wifi, food and soft drinks.
Should I start coding before I attend?
You can start coding on a project you’re working, or use your exercise above. Or if you want to get started with your very first line of code at the Meetup, that’s cool too.
Is there a set agenda for this monthly Meetup?
Nope. We want to give you as much time as possible each month to dig into the code so we won’t be officially presenting anything. Come anytime during the two hours.
