TypeScript has become the preferred language for programming HTML5 apps. Come see how TypeScript allows developers to eliminate a huge category of common JavaScript programming errors, make more maintainable and reusable code, and helps developers attack a problem by thinking in types or functions. We’ll also see how TypeScript is used in modern web application development frameworks like Angular. Laptops are encouraged.
Bio
Jeff Gonzalez is a software developer and the president of Hypertheory, Inc. He has been programming the web since the early days and specializes in applications for community building and business process automation. He has been a software development trainer and educator for over 20 years. He currently teaches TypeScript, Angular, and web API design and implementation at Progressive.
We will begin promptly at 6:00pm. I encourage you to try and be there by 5:50, park and come in. If you’ll be later than 6pm, you are still welcome to come but you’ll miss a portion of the presentation.
