Ohio State’s ACM-W chapter has several community outreach events coming up, including a Girl Scouts Robotics badge event.

On Wednesday, January 15th from 3-5pm at the Grandview Heights library, ACM-W will be helping 4th grade Girl Scouts earn their Programming Robots, Designing Robots, and Showcasing Robots badges. ACM-W will be sharing learning materials from Hour of Code and FIRST Robotics.

Previous community outreach events in the fall included partnering with Dublin’s Cool Tech Girls to host a Scratch workshop at OSU and a local 4H chapter to teach the 4H Code Your World curriculum.

We hope you will consider joining us to encourage younger students to explore computer science.
