Maker Hour of Code- Dec 1, 2018 – Columbus, Ohio at Franklin University
Maker Hour of Code is for ages 4-104. Bring the whole family, neighbor kids or friends!
Maker Hour of Code is part of a larger international celebration called Hour of Code that takes place each year during Computer Science Education Week. Computer Science Education Week is held annually in recognition of the birthday of computing pioneer Admiral Grace Murray Hopper (December 9, 1906).
Maker Hour of Code widens our activities to include VR, 3D print, video gaming, Arduino, and all makers of digital design and technology. Try out Hour of Code Activities online anytime!
Register Now on Eventbrite for Free Tickets to Maker Hour of Code on Dec 1, 2018. The event runs 11am-3pm. Stay for a few minutes or dive deep for a few hours.
- Tickets are free but space is limited.
- Snacks provided by Franklin University.
- Easy bus and bike access, parking is free.
Sign up as a maker of VR, games, robotics, 3D print, Arduinos, code, digital design or other technology to vend, provide a demo, workshop or other free activities for all ages:
- Inspiring people to make and do is our goal. Deadline to apply is Nov 1.
- Space is limited, but tell us in your application what you’d like to showcase.
- Free to participate.

Maker Hour of Code will be held inside Ross Auditorium located on the campus of Franklin University. There is free parking outside of Ross Auditorium.
